Download Android 4.4.2 KOT49 Update for Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition

Download Android 4.4.2 KitKat for Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition
Early this week the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition device model number GT-I9505-Gpe has received the new Android 4.4.2 KitKat (KOT49H) OS. The new firmware is the same that the HTC One GPe, LG G Pad the 8.3-inch version and Nexus line devices received this month.
The latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware is developed to be a bug-fixed and to add minor User Interface tweaks, as you can see the update brings no major features changes and new applications.
The new update, Android 4.4.2 called version KOT49H.S0001.131204 is measuring totally 57.5MB. Unfortunately, though the firmware comes with several bug fixes and enhancements, it does not include the App Ops security application that is necessary to have a control over the app permissions.
As you probably know that the new Android 4.4.2 OS is pushed out in phases, and this means not all the Galaxy S4 Google Play edition’s owners will receive in the same time this update, and it may sometimes before it is rolled out for your region.
Also, if you didn’t receive the latest firmware as an automatically OTA update in your GT-I9505 device notification’s panel, then you can manually check by navigating to Settings>About>System updates.
The good news is that, thanks to the XDA developers you can download the Android 4.4.3 KOT49H update for Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505G devices directly by visiting the links below:
