The highly anticipated next iteration on the product line is expected to be the S6 model which so far we know little about. Sources say Samsung is gearing up to go head to head against Apple's iPhone 6 and is planning to launch the device in early 2015. This gives Apple a couple of months of head start in sales, but analyst say the extra time gives much needed time for Samsung to work out any bugs on their device. Working out such problems is essential to having a good product launch. The iPhone 6 Plus for example has been having bending issues where the body cracks along the volume controls from simple daily use. iOS 8 has been plagued with Wi-fi and battery draining issues due to poorly optimized code. but being that the S5 cost $600 new at launch there's no reason to believe the

<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Download Carbon Rom and Gapp on your Computer.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Connect your device to PC and copy both the downloaded files to external SD card.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now, Switch off your device and enter into Recovery Mode to do so: (Press and hold “Volume Up + Home + Power button” for a few seconds, until the screen flashes and then release all the buttons.)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now Select “wipe data/factory reset“, then select “Yes” for confirmation and wait till the data wipe is complete.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now, go to </span><a href="http://www.androidtipsandtricks.com/2014/06/clockworkmod-recovery-for-galaxy-s5.html" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;" target="_blank">CWM recovery</a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> main menu.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now Select “wipe cache partition” and after that, select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” under advance option to perform Dalvik cache wiping.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now come to the recovery main menu and select “Install zip from SD card” and give a path where you have placed Carbon Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy S5.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">As you select the installation will start and it will take 3-5 minutes to complete so don’t hesitate and let the installation to be completed.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Similarly, you can follow the previous step to flash “Gapps“.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Once the flashing process gets over.  Select “++++Go Back++++” and then choose “reboot system” to reboot your phone.</span></li>

<li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Put your phone in download mode (turn off phone, then hold VolDown+Home+Power to boot - if it asks you to press a button to continue, press the listed button, or run adb reboot download command)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">(USB) Connect the phone to your computer</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Make sure Repartition is NOT checked</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Click the Start button</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Wait for Android to boot</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Done (if it took you more than 30 seconds, you goofed)</span></li>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /><b><u>NOTE: </u></b>Sometimes the device does *not* boot into recovery mode. Just do the entire procedure again if this happens. If it still will not install, make sure that in Odin "Auto Reboot" is not checked. Then after flashing, pull the battery, and boot with VolUp+Home+Power button to boot into recovery manually. This will start the install process.</span></div>
