Microsoft Mobile Office is the official partner optimized for Android phones and is now completely free, no need to subscribe for creating documents or basic editing when you use it at home. Now you can access, view and edit Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint virtually documents anywhere. Documents show like the original, with support for charts, SmartArt graphics, animations, and shapes. When you want to make quick edits or add annotations to a document, the format and the content remain intact. All you need is a free Microsoft account.
In Word, you can search, type, add comments and complete basic font formatting, in Excel, you can explore, sift and perform five mathematical functions. You can open the existing PowerPoint files and edit slides, though you can not create new presentations. Android tablets version of Microsoft Office is not ready yet, but according to what the Microsoft Office VP for marketing John Case said in an interview with GeekWire, they will do it.
Until Microsoft Office will be supported on larger screens, you can use OfficeSuite, QuickOffice or Kingsoft Office for your tablet.
