And it includes all the new features in the latest version. You can upgrade your phone to Android 4.4 kitkat Operating System by installing this custom ROM. PRE REQUIREMENTS:
- We recommend you to take a backup of the data in your phone. After installing the ROM, all the files and data will be deleted. Then you can restore it from the backup file.
- SMS – Backup Messages
- Contacts – Sync with Gmail App
- Videos, Images, Songs and Other Files – Copy to internal / External SD card or System
- Then maintain minimum 60% charge in your phone’s battery. This will help you to don’t get switched of your phone.
- And disable any antivirus and firewalls too.
Installation
- First time flashing CM11 to your Galaxy Ace(Cooper) (or coming from another ROM)?
- Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.x
- Reboot into Recovery using 2-button-combo
- Do a Nandroid backup!
- WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
- Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
- Optionally install the Google Addon
- Upgrading from CM7/CM9?
- Do a Nandroid Backup!
- WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
- Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
- Optionally install the Google Addon
- Upgrading from another CM10/CM10.1/CM10.2 prior to this Build?
- Do a Nandroid Backup!
- Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
- Optionally restore /data from Nandroid Backup (the update will wipe your /data)
- Optionally install the Google Addon
